EDGEWOOD, Md., (June 26, 2024) – Forbes magazine has recognized APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) as one of America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions for a fifth time.
Each year, Forbes partners with Statista, an independent market research firm, to conduct in-depth consumer interviews across the U.S. to determine the best credit unions in each state. This year, more than 26,000 residents from all 50 states were surveyed on their banking relationships.
"We're honored to be named once again to this distinguished list of credit unions," says APGFCU Interim CEO Chuck Kelly. "We empower our members and neighbors in the community with the financial knowledge and tools they need to build and protect their wealth. Keeping our member-owners at the forefront of all we do is why we consistently rank among the best."
Scores and rankings were based on a 1-100 scale of consumer opinions of overall recommendations and satisfaction with an institution’s trust and transparency, terms and conditions, branch, digital and customer service, and financial advice. Additionally, award winners were determined based on a sentiment analysis of public reviews and ratings from February 2021 through March 2024. Of the thousands of credit unions in the U.S., only 207 earned best-in-state rankings.
APGFCU membership is free and open to everyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers or attends school in Harford County, Cecil County, Baltimore County and Baltimore City. For more information, call 410-272-4000 or visit apgfcu.com.
